Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how AnarkWorld ("the app", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our application. By creating an account or using AnarkWorld, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Data we collect

Account data: username, email address, password (stored encrypted), and — if you sign in with Google — your basic Google profile information.

Content you post: posts (text, images, video, polls), comments, reactions, private messages, profile and cover photos, music attached to your posts.

Community data: communities you join or create, and your role within them.

Technical data: IP address, device type, operating system, push notification identifiers (FCM token), and server usage/error logs.

Moderation data: reports you submit or that are submitted about you, sanctions applied to your account, and the content of any appeals you file.

Currency and activity: virtual currency balance, completed missions, account level, and items purchased in the shop.

3. How we use your data

• To create and maintain your account.
• To display your content to other users according to the applicable privacy settings.
• To send you push notifications about relevant activity (mentions, messages, appeal outcomes, etc.).
• To moderate content and enforce our Terms of Service.
• To improve the app, fix bugs, and prevent abuse or fraudulent activity.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Third-party services

AnarkWorld uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): to deliver push notifications.
• Google Sign-In: as an optional login method.
• YouTube Data API (Google): videos you upload through the app are hosted on YouTube as "unlisted" content. By using this feature, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. You can review the Google Privacy Policy to understand how Google handles that data.

5. Moderation and safety

When you report content or a user, we store evidence of the reported content (including an archived copy if the original content is deleted) so we can review the case, resolve appeals, and maintain an auditable history of moderation decisions. This history may be accessed by AnarkWorld moderators and administrators as part of the review process.

6. Virtual currency and payments

AnarkWorld includes a virtual currency ("coins") that you can earn by completing missions within the app. We plan to soon offer the option to purchase coins with real money. When that feature is available, payment processing will be handled by the applicable app store (Google Play), and we do not directly store your payment card information. Coins have no monetary value outside the app and are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. If you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except for moderation records we must retain for safety, abuse-prevention, or legal-compliance purposes.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your personal data. Users in Peru are covered by Law No. 29733 (Personal Data Protection Law), which grants access, rectification, cancellation, and objection rights. 9. Minors

AnarkWorld is intended for people aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete that information and the associated account.

10. Security

We apply reasonable technical measures to protect your information (such as encrypting passwords and session tokens). However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you within the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document reflects the current version.
